THE ROLE OF WTO IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

Abstract
The World Trade Organization (WTO) wields significant influence in our globalized world, shaping not just trade in goods and services, but also the very fabric of education. This article delves into the intricate relationship between the WTO and education quality, exploring both the potential opportunities and unforeseen challenges that arise from this complex interplay. Moving beyond simplistic narratives, we present a nuanced analysis informed by quantitative data, in-depth case studies, and diverse stakeholder perspectives. Through rigorous research and critical assessment, we illuminate the potential of trade liberalization to foster innovation, expand access, and drive knowledge sharing in the education sector. However, we also raise crucial concerns about exacerbated inequalities, the erosion of public education systems, and the prioritization of market forces over social good.
